What Difference Makes to Togetherness?

Welcome to MOST LIFE and this week it’s “T” for Togetherness.

We are on our 4th “D” of the 8 Dimensions of a MOST LIFE.

Direction, Decision, Delivery and now, Differentiation.

This week we talk about Togetherness in a whole new way. I am tackling Differentiation because Differentiation is how we DON’T have Togetherness. I have to tell you something, we all recognize things that are different and people who are different. This creates SEPARATION, not Togetherness! Sometimes and I push people away.

Why does this happen? Because we all have a primitive brain that is set up to protect us. Protect us from foes, from lions and tigers and bears, OH MY!

How you Deliver Matters!

Welcome to MOST LIFE and this week it’s “S” for Speaking. We are on our 3rd “D” of the 8 Dimensions of a MOST LIFE. This week as we SPEAK, we focus on our DELIVERY!

Speaking is so important to having a MOST LIFE because we are communication creatures! In this high-tech world we are on our phones emailing, texting, snap-chatting and “hurry, let me get back to everyone NOW!”

But, is it really speaking? Speaking and relating with people matters so much in how we enjoy a MOST LIFE. The right words, the right tone, the right posture. Connection!

Speaking is how we connect in our world. SO, we have to DELIVER the best spoken words and the non-spoken language.

Did you know the best way to Organize is to make a decision!

Here at MOST LIFE we cover one of our eight themes each week. This week in “O” for Organization the “O” in MOST LIFE.

I started the 8 Dimensions of a MOST LIFE last week with Direction. This week we take on the 2nd “D”– for Organization, Decisions. Let’s talk about decisions because, getting organized, starts with decisions. As a matter of fact a lot of things in life start with decisions.

Here at MOST LIFE we have organized drawers, organized money, and created lists. How? Through DECISIONS!

In life we have to make priorities and decisions about how we spend our time.

What guides your direction in life?

Here at MOST LIFE we cover one of our eight themes each week. This week we cover “M” for Meaning!

Life is full of choices and input. We receive all sorts of input for how we “should” live, feel and think. Turn on the news and I guarantee you will think the world is worse off today than ever, even though crime rates are at all time lows in many U.S. cities. When I was young I loved learning about how the body works and I loved helping people. I taught kids in my neighborhood how to ride their bike without training wheels, wow, was that a great joy!

So,

Meditation and Breath

Here at MOST LIFE we cover one of our eight themes each week. This week we cover “E” for Energy

Breath is so fundamental to living, it is ALL we need to survive a day! We can live a day without food or water, but we can ONLY survive less than 4 minutes without breathing. As a nurse, I have seen people recover from not breathing longer than 4 minutes, after a cardiac arrest, they were saved on the street and rescued, their brain undergoing massive damage because of the lack of oxygen, hypoxia. This is not a desired state! We need oxygen and to breathe it in!

We breathe on our own with no conscious mental awareness at all.

Where do you NEED to LET GO?

Here at MOST LIFE we cover one of our eight themes each week. This week we cover “F” for Freedom

My closets are brimming over with old pillows, photographs, special trinkets from trips and all sorts of “meaningful” stuff. My shelves are full of my book “friends”. We have no more room to collect stuff and keep our things. “Wait, what if I need that someday?” I hear my fear creep in, I get sweaty with anxiety and I don’t know what I would do if I was right. Some far off day I may be asked to pull out that best seller from 2003 and delight someone with my savvy saving.

Thinking about things? Get into ideas instead.

Here at MOST LIFE we cover one of our eight themes each week. This week we cover “I” for Intelligence!

There are a variety of ways we can think and interact with others.  How we use our mind and what we invite in to our mind that creates patterns and habits is important! Most of what we do in this area is out of the habits we form through repetition. The people we spend time with influence our habits. The more time we spend with people, the more they influence us and the thoughts we have.

When we engage in dialogue with others we learn. We learn about who they are and we learn about who we are.

Be your own SuperHero!

Here at MOST LIFE we cover one of our eight themes each week. This week we cover L” for Living!

As a young girl I played super hero often. I really liked the imagining that I could do anything (to anyone) with a simple thought, the extension of my hand or the blink of my eye. In those days Batman, Superman and the Fantastic Four were popular, my brother and sisters and I played different roles, dressed up and used towels and old Halloween costumes to play the parts. It was so much fun to dress up and be a superhero!

This week I grab a towel as a reminder that we all could use a cape.

Getting Back To Nature

Each week we cover one of our 8 MOST LIFE themes, this week it is “T” for Togetherness!

This time of the year may be a little chilly to get back in touch with nature, but whether you are in the north, south or somewhere in between, it is important to connect with the natural world, the universe is so magical.

We are so evolved that we are not as connected to nature as the past generations. We are so evolved that the very natural connection (togetherness) that allows for our survival, is no longer part of our life (for most of us). We need food and water for survival. Turn on the water faucet, shop at the local super-sized grocery chain.

How do you sound?

Each week we cover one of our 8 MOST LIFE themes, this week it is “S” for Speaking.

We have been working on our life vision, our vision boards and NOW we are ready to create our verbal message to ourselves.

When you write in your own handwriting YOUR goals are set in motion. You are the author of your life. Taking it up a notch, when you add emotions and pictures and vivid designs of your life it sets in motion a magical energy that charges your subconscious mind. The events in your life begin to unfold in a manner that matches your plans and your emotions.

I described how I created a house with vision boards that I move into five years later!
