Get into a NEW HABIT– one of Gratitude

Do you control your habits or do your habits control you?

Habits are repeated actions. They embed in our mind (and body) when we add emotions and physical movement. The powerful addition of thoughts, action and emotions is what creates our character through habits. This is a powerful formula to understand and we can control it.  But, many of us do not control this powerful mix that adds up to our habits.

Will you cut off one more chain? What Chain is holding you back?

Here at MOST LIFE we cover one of our eight themes each week.

This week we cover “F” for Freedom

Too busy to read?? Freedom is a highly sought state. Expressing ourselves, thinking for ourselves and BEING ourselves is a cherished place to be. We desire greater expression, thinking and being at peace with our own self and others.

Freedom comes in many stages, however the environments we become familiar with tend to shape our feelings of Freedom. Our expectations of Freedom in any given moment are shaped by our past Freedom and our future ideas of Freedom.

How do you define Fine LIVING?

Here at MOST LIFE we cover one of our eight themes each week

This week we cover “L” for Living

I defne fine LIVING as having wonderful experiences with my senses often. Fine smells, sights, tastes, music, nice fabrics to touch and feel. This is sometimes called a decadent life, but I disagree. I think enjoying the finer things in life is a refined way of Living. Certainly, if you can afford more that’s great, but what about for many of us?

It’s time to look around and see the beauty in your life and really fine LIVING. The smells of your kitchen when you make a favorite dish or “their” favorite cookies.

Let’s make Togetherness (=) Creativity

Togetherness is a way of life for social animals, like us. Last time we spoke about the common bond we have with mammals like Elephants. We need each other. Some people are better at connecting with people then others are. Whether it be over a certain purpose, new ideas or creative ways to enhance the world. Several well regarded books, the Bible being one, have told us that “where there are more than one gathered there I am in their midst.”

Great forces of energy are created when people come Together. The Bible, Napoleon Hill, and other greats have recognized this “synergy”. We talk about it in the business world,

What do you notice? How can you speak UP?

This week is “S” for Speaking

Speaking is one of our greatest tools. There are people who make a difference by speaking up. There are heroes who have spoken up and created great movements. One of my favorites is Mother Theresa, a gentle, yet fierce soul who never wanted to fight or rebel, she wanted to serve. One of her most famous quotes is, “do it anyway”. Be happy, be kind, treat others with love, strive to be your best, people will judge or tear you down, do it anyway. I am paraphrasing here, but her words resonate with me everyday.

Listening to the OUTER voices adds – Meaning

It’s “M” week for Meaning

This week I explore the “M” in MOST and in many ways it is the entire philosophy of MOST LIFE, Meaning. We get meaning from life by following our heart and listening to our inner voice. It matters what is going on inside, there is great intelligence in our inner voice. But, what about what others are saying to us? What do we do with the messages that come from the outside? They aren’t always easy or fun, sometimes they are downright profound and helpful, maybe a bit painful.

What are you doing with ALL your free time?

This week is it “F” for Freedom

As we close out summer we reflect on free time and how we use it. According to a new study released by the U.S. Department of Labor, Americans have more free time and less work time in 2013 than we did in 2003. Really? I was working more then? I have more free time NOW?

According to the study, we have 10 minutes more of sleep, 10 minutes more of TV watching or leisurely activities, 13 minutes less of work-related activity and 3 minutes less of exercise time or physical activities. This is astounding to me,

Who is Smarter than You?

This week it is “I” for Intelligence

Intelligence is tricky, we think of ourselves as smart, we also want to be smarter but do we know if we are smart enough? We avoid things that will make us feel less smart therefore we gravitate to activities that make us feel smart, confident and accomplished. It is natural to not want the pains of learning something new & getting frustrated but learning to me is like exercise, we do it because we know it is good for us. It hurts doing it but in the end we are better off.

As far as intelligence goes,
